April 2005. Printers deal often personal information provided from
clients. Appropriate protection and control are necessary to establish
social trust. For the further development of printing industry, JFPI
formulated a guideline.

Environmentally Related Regulation 2006'

JFPI environment committee revised "Regulation
related Print"1997 version, and provided more explanation on
environmentally related regulation. Also added description of law
regarding plant location, disaster prevention and work safety.

JFPI "Print Service" Green Standards Guideline(in Japanese)
As self-imposed standard, in 2001 Green standards
for off-set printing, in 2003 for seal, gravure, and screen print
service are enacted. Social environmental awareness and environmental
efforts of printing industry are increasing. JFPI reviewed Green standards
and amended in March 2006 off-set, in April 2007 seal, gravure, and
screen. These standards are detailed for materials, process and projects.

- handy on the spot(in Japanese)
Print vocabularies are standardized to JIS. Print
glossary was strongly requested and　published in March 2002. About
2600 terms used in printing processes and digital terms related to
printing are selected. English titles and easy explanations are added.
